DUKE 2.0 - I AM HEARTWORM-POSITIVE....please help me get these little critters out of my body!

Hi, I'm Duke and I am so happy to be with New Hope. They took me into the their care and saved me from being put down. Then they found out that I have heartworms and they still LOVE ME! As soon as I get these little worms out of my heart, I will be good as new and will have plenty of room in my heart for my new adopter!

If you could help with my vet bills, that would be great!

Hi, I'm Hankie. I'm a good little boy who is very soft and loves to play. I do well in my crate and in a fenced in yard. Right now I should be on a leash when out of the yard until I learn recall. I am learning to sit and not jump...I'm learning fast but people are just so tempting because I love them. I want to be your best friend and play with all the toys.

Hi, I'm Dixie. I would love to be your next best friend! I'm loving, loyal, and simply beautiful! I'm very sweet, affectionate, and energetic......and that is just for starters! My foster home calls me Funny Face because I do a little Elvis lip when I get excited. I love to run and appear to be very awkward but actually that is just to distract you so you don't realize that I am winning....I'm very fast. I know how to come when called, how to sit, down and shake. I need a little work on the leash but I'm a fast learner and I can't be good at everything right away. I'm learning how to fetch!

I'm a 9 month old girl who acts like a 3 month old except, I sit, lay down, am housetrained, and I will crate up if you toss a treat in there for me. I don't whine about it if I have my toys. I like my foster boys but like my foster dog friends better. I need a home who has patience and will be understanding of what it must have been like for me while I was in a shelter for 60 days. I have never been given any time to get comfortable around men but if you give me a few weeks, I will be the bestest snuggler, lover and loyal companion you've ever had.

CHUCK

Hi, I'm Chuck. I have had a pretty rough start. New Hope accepted me when animal control was removing me from the axel of a car. Un-neutered, no tags, and a broken leg, I was not claimed by my "owners." I am healed now and am simply gorgeous. My skin looks great....especially when you consider that I had about twenty staples in my side after the "incident." I also lost some teeth but that doesn't stop me from enjoying a good bone now and again, and again, and again. I went to live with some great people who had horses. I loved the people, not so much love for the horses. Their feet are big and do not feel good. I now have a shiner on my right eye. They say that I would probably do great around cows but the horses are just a little too much....and so are the cats! I am just too curious. I haven't hurt the cats but I am a little too interested for my own good. I LOVE TO FETCH.

I love to play ball....and I love to chew on rawhides! I'm doing great on a leash and am very loyal. I'm quite the little explorer and am quite curious. I love to play with outher dog but I do want to be the big cheese. Oh, and I LOVE my squeeky toys. I'm a fast learner...I even know hand signals. I give new meaning to the word heeler!
